Long delayed update

I really do need to keep this blog up to date and I will do so from now on.

This weekend sees us getting a visit from my Sister and Brother-in-law plus our friends from Spalding to have a meal to celebrate Jane and I's 30th wedding anniversary. Should be a nice weekend.

I will put some updates here from now on.....I hope! :-)

December 2014 - Christmas!

Oh well, I totally forgot a November post so here is my December one with November added on.

November started with a family meal on my Wifes side. A nice steak for me with some very nice dishes for the other family members. Nice to meet family members that we dont often see.

The month was not that interesting filled mostly with work. A weeks holiday for both myself and the Wife at the end of November beginning of December saw us doing a few trips out as the festive season began.

One notable trip was to Southend for some pre-Christmas shopping.

We also had a trip into St Albans on the bus to visit their Market and the Christmas Fair. A few pictures of the trip :

A trip to our friends in Spalding saw more christmas shopping plus some boozing and partaking in a royal feast. Must do that again :-)

My daughters were both with us on the days leading up to Christmas which saw the family visiting the Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park which included going into the freezing Ice Kingdom.

My daughters also visited Van Hagues and their Christmas Ice Rink which was a nice morning out, their Nan came with us as well.
