Logan

The X-Men series of films have not been the best but they have moved the story on and to this film that is finally R rated giving Wolverine's claws the opportunity to be used properly.

The story told is one of rescue and deliverance as Logan and the original leader of the X men, Doctor Xavier, aided by the mutant Caliban hide out from the world in a derelict factory. A woman brings a young mutant to them and Logan reluctantly takes on the task to protect her from a military organisation hunting her.

The body count is satisfyingly high as the film moves to its downbeat end but it does leave you feeling better for the future of the characters in the end.

This is a great film that is well worth catching in the cinema and introduces the next generation of mutants which has to be a good thing. Go see it!
