Today I have the unenviable task of waiting for a buyer to call to see and, hopefully, buy my Daughters old car. I thought I would have a go at updating my blog's and websites as all are crying out for work to be done.
Today is my rest day, one of 2 I get every week. I did try to get some overtime but none was available which is unusual to say the least. It does mean I get to do what I want and, as the wife is at work till about 1pm, I get to watch Wheeler Dealers on TV :-)
Thoughts are now turning to what we are going to be doing this year, mostly split up between railways and watching touring car racing.
Next weekend sees us going to watch our eldest daughter graduate after completing her nursing degree. March will see a visit to the Birmingham Comic Con at the NEC then April I will be at the Association of 16mm Railway Modellers AGM in Peterborough. May sees 2 more comic cons, one in Harlow and the other at Londons Excel plus the Brambelton Model Railway Club have their annual open day and I will be running my trains there.
We aim to go to BTCC rounds at all the locations except for a couple. We will be going to Scotland for the Knockhill round for the first time, a nice long weekend will enable us to visit Edinburgh and the Falkirk Wheel and well as other places.
Time to get some hotels booked.
